These are the first few days after arrival in New Eden. There is a lot to take in but now I am tired and I must sleep. Arriving at the I am told Jita is like New Eden's capital. It's a bit confusing. I thought New Eden was the name of 'the place'. I haven't got a penny so I grabbed a shuttle and made my way to Jita in hope of better life and better future. And meet people. I don't think it is my job to explain anything EVE unit I can properly explain it if that makes sense.
'The Scope' is like the news for capsuleers even though it doesn't report on big battles monthly.
There asrimoth, that guys that wears dresses and lore among you know sad cases like markee. Whilst certainly helpful it's also good to do your own thing because you can pick your own pace. There's also qiuite a few player-run boards like reddit nd of course the university platform of the CCP itself and it never hurts to just keep an eye out for anything popping up on YouTube in general.
I am not a fan of leaving the game in order to look at some URL in Safari for it always is something that can be found in the game itself, just you know, without logging in. I don't have any problems and I pretty much have it running 24/7 until the server resets which as it hits at noon Brussels' time, is when I grab lunch and break. Most of what I do I do in the mornings when things are less populated, which is just sheer luck I guess.
It's a bit bloated as it tries and cover everything. There's a presidential campaign, there's a frigate free for all, local meet-ups annual events to name a few. You don't have to attend every single event but it always helps to know when these things are taking place as it can kind of predict when certain areas are more dangerous than normal or people just acting up, hyped.
There's the discord but like I said anything that makes you physically leave the game breaks immersion.
